Three main procedure of dental implant:

  1. Installation of dental implant
  2. Impressions for permanent crown
  3. Dental crown placement

According to the above images:

Figure 1:

The patient has no upper incisor and canine teeth. She has worn dentures for many years but currently getting loose and warped. First step is taking a two and three-dimensional x-ray for treatment planning. CT scan (three-dimensional x-ray) ensures exact position of nerves, and indicates jaw bone density and sinus adjacent areas. The treatment plan in this case is 6 implants with 10 fixed implant bridges. Bone grafting is also planned for the treatment as the jaw bone density is inadequate.

Figure 3:

Draw blood from the patient and centrifuge to get PRF (Platelet -rich fibrin) in which consists of growth factor that will speed up wound healing.

Figure 4:

Insert healing abutment, and stitch up the wound. Then, wait until the body creates osteointegration or wait until implant is conciliated with jaw bones. All procedures take approximately 2 months.

Figure 5:

After the wound is healed and undergoes the completed osteointegration, scan body or digital implant impression is placed on the implant. Hence, there is no need to take analog impressions. Scan body scan bodies create a more efficient digital workflow for dental implants such as detecting the position and orientation of a dental implant.

Figure 6:

Design fixed bridges by digital software to identify accurate shape, position, angle and height of teeth. The advantages are treatment result analysis, reduced treatment procedures, and revision as all factors can be checked through software, also known as Computer-Aided-Design (CAD).

Figure 7:

The permanent bridge is manufactured by using software. This manufacturing process is called Computer-Aided-Manufacturing (CAM). Monolithic zirconia, one of ceramic categories, is used as the material for the bridge because of its strength, endurance and outstanding aesthetic qualities.

Figure 8:

This procedure is bridge placement and occlusal adjustment. Completed treatment spends less than 3 months with 330,000 THB total expenditure. The price can be varied depending on jaw bone density. Fixed implant bridges are attached to dental implants for a permanent, worry-free solution that looks and acts like your natural teeth.
